- Assessing and monitoring casualties in emergencies.
- Administering CPR and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Treating burns, scalds, and bleeding, including shock management.
- Managing airway obstructions and poisoning incidents.
- Handling bone injuries, major medical conditions, and joint injuries.
- Reviewing legal requirements, including COSHH and RIDDOR.

- Electrical incidents and safe response techniques.
- Treating unresponsive casualties (breathing and not breathing).
- Managing diabetic emergencies, strokes, and severe allergic reactions.
- Recording and reporting accidents and injuries in line with regulations.
On Completion
- Delegates will refresh their knowledge and skills to:
- Provide emergency care for a variety of injuries and medical conditions.
- Correctly administer basic life support and the recovery position.
- Use an AED effectively in emergencies.
- Record and report accidents competently using RIDDOR guidelines.
